What does APST do for your medication supply?
What does APST do for your medication supply?
Medication treatment is a central component of therapies. Thanks to a modern organizational structure and electronic documentation, the APST care network helps to improve care for patients,
simplify the work of doctors and pharmacists and increase drug safety and treatment adherence.
Advantages of medication management from APST?
Electronic medication plan
On the Ambulanzpartner.de portal, patients and doctors have the opportunity to view and print out an overview of current and past medication in the form of an electronic medication plan. They can also make confidential assessments of medication and services and thus contribute to the improvement of care processes.
Increasing drug safety
APST cooperates with specialized pharmacies that offer a service telephone for patients of the APST care network. On weekdays from 09:00 to 16:00, patients, relatives, nursing staff and doctors have the opportunity to obtain advice on existing medication treatment.
Contacts are pharmacists who specialize in the medication of patients in the APST care network. They can clarify questions about the side effects of medications, their combinability and advice on how to take medication in practice and reduce the risks of side effects.
Simple and fast supply of medication
Patients receive the medication prescribed at their doctor’s appointment delivered to their home without having to visit a pharmacy themselves. The supply is processed on the same day by the pharmacy cooperating with APST. As the partner pharmacies specialize in APST patient groups, the medication is always in stock or available for immediate delivery. Medication that has already been prescribed can be conveniently reordered by telephone.

– Interdisciplinary medication plan with the prescriptions of all of the patient’s doctors participating in APST
– Telephone advice from pharmacists for patients, relatives, doctors and nursing staff
– Free and nationwide delivery of medication to the home address
How can I participate in APST’s medication management?
To use the services of APST, patients sign the declaration of consent to participate in APST. You will receive the document from APST.
Registration of co-payment exemption
The services of APST are free of charge. Due to legal decisions in the healthcare sector, pharmacies are obliged to collect co-payments for medication from people with statutory health insurance and pass them on to the health insurance companies. If you are not exempt from co-payment of medication or are privately insured, you will receive an invoice from the cooperating pharmacy.
The partner pharmacies of Ambulanzpartner offer to electronically record the co-payment made and inform the patient when the co-payment limit has been reached. By confirming the co-payments made, the patient is able to submit the application for exemption from co-payments to the statutory health insurance fund.
