The Berlin Technology Foundation organized a press trip with Berlin’s Senator for Health and Social Affairs, Mario Czaja, together with AmbulanzPartner to present the “Smart Home Berlin” study on 01.04.2015. During the press trip, AmbulanzPartner was presented as an example of an innovative care technology developed in Berlin.
The recently published study “Smart Home Berlin” provides comprehensive information on the technological developments of age-appropriate assistance systems for a self-determined life in Berlin as a business location.
Mario Czaja, Senator for Health and Social Affairs of the State of Berlin: “In 2030, one in four Berliners will be over 60 years old. This will increase the need for intelligent care concepts.”
Nicolas Zimmer, CEO of the Technology Foundation Berlin: “Berlin wants to become the leading smart city in Europe. Berlin’s research and healthcare industries have understood this and are now developing corresponding healthcare products.”
Prof. Dr. Thomas Meyer, Managing Director of AmbulanzPartner SozioTechnologie GmbH: “The digitalization of care will play a growing role in Berlin’s healthcare industry. AmbulanzPartner will map and further develop this development via its platform.”
