How does the provision of aids via the ALS app work?

The notification of your need for an assistive device is created by you in the ALS app and sent to the Outpatient Partner case management team. From there, the notification of need is sent to the special outpatient clinic or specialist practice. There, the medical assessment of your care requirements is also carried out digitally. The supply request is then sent to a suitable medical supply retailer. After receiving your care requirements, the medical supply retailer will contact you by your preferred method, by phone, text message or email. You will then be contacted in person to discuss the process of fitting you with the required aid.
