The FRS (Functional Rating Scale) is a questionnaire that enables people with SMA to record and evaluate the progression of their disease. The data obtained in this way is used to assess the individual course of the disease and to support treatment decisions. The questionnaire is also important for the research and development of new medications and aids for SMA.
