The SMA app displays precise information on the individual course of the disease to help patients, relatives and doctors. The app shows you data on the progression of your SMA function scale and supports you in recording important vital signs (BMI, SVC, PCF).
Supply: The SMA app offers you the opportunity to communicate your supply requirements for medication and aids to your SMA pilots online. You can initiate care processes from your smartphone or tablet on the move and from home. You can use the SMA app to send important prescriptions, documents and photos to your care providers, therapists and pharmacies.
Research: With the SMA function scale, the app offers you the opportunity to participate in scientific research projects from home.

To use the SMA app, you must register with Ambulanzpartner. You can register and activate the SMA app online or by requesting the registration documents to be sent to you by post. The process for online registration is explained here: https://register.ambulanzpartner.de/patient/
You can find the SMA app by entering the search terms “spinal muscular atrophy”, “SMA” or “SMA app” in the Apple or Google App Store.
The app can be found and downloaded free of charge using these search terms.
Due to the individual and scientific benefits, we provide the SMA app free of charge. The app is linked to the ambulance partner platform and uses a shared database in the technical background.
To open the app, please use the login details (username and password) from your user account on the Ambulanzpartner platform. After logging in to the app, you can use the functions on disease progression, care and research.
