Patients make intensive use of the online ALSFRS questionnaire – 1,000 scores already recorded

The 1,000 ALSFRS questionnaire was submitted online via Ambulanzpartner.de last weekend. We are delighted that the online self-assessment of the course of the disease is being used so intensively by patients. The 1,000 ALSFRS score was collected by Bernd König. “Your work is extremely important to me, especially in this situation,” writes Bernd König in an email to us.

The 1,000 ALSFRS scores have been completed by a total of 420 patients since March 2017. This means that over 5% of all ALS patients in Germany take part in the online ALSFRS questionnaire on Ambulanzpartner. Our online ALSFRS questionnaire is already the most comprehensive patient self-assessment of ALS disease progression in Germany. The high number of participants and the binding data provide a very good instrument for the development of new forms of care and therapies.
