Managing Aftercare for Stroke II Study: OutpatientPartner for the recording of long-term care

In the second phase of the study on post-rehabilitative disability due to stroke and patient needs (“MAS II“), AmbulanzPartner will be used to digitally record the long-term care of the study participants. MAS II is being conducted by the Charité’s Center for Stroke Research Berlin (CSB) and will begin in June 2016.

The CSB wants to use the study to investigate the impairments that patients suffer years after a stroke and the extent of these impairments. For the CSB, the study is part of a multi-stage project to develop an integrated aftercare model for stroke patients beyond the rehabilitation phase.

AmbulanzPartner is participating in the study to gain new insights for digital process control in outpatient stroke care. With MAS II, AmbulanzPartner aims to identify and redesign problems and bottlenecks in stroke care processes.

The principal investigator for MAS II is Prof. Dr. Andreas Meisel (Charité, CSB). The contact person for the study is Dr. Benjamin Hotter (Charité, CSB).
