European research network uses AmbulanzPartner.de to improve care for people with ALS

The European research consortium Joint Programs – Neurodegenerative Diseases (JPND) is using the Internet portal AmbulanzPartner.de for the ALS-CarE project. The ALS-CarE joint project aims to improve the care of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in Europe.

Institutes and clinics at the universities in Dublin, London, Milan, Leuven, Munich and Berlin are involved in the project. Among other things, the research association is developing an internet-based treatment matrix for the care of people with ALS. The treatment matrix is intended to offer best practice treatment for ALS in Europe. The ALS-CarE research project will start at the beginning of 2014 and last three years.
