AmbulanzPartner, SAP and BVG in the opening trailer of the 2014 Service Conference of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research

The digital products of the three companies AmbulanzPartner, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) and SAP Aktiengesellschaft were presented in the opening trailer at the Service Conference in the Science Year 2014 “Services in the Digital Society” on May 27 and 28, 2014 in Berlin. AmbulanzPartner‘s services, SAP’s cloud applications and BVG’s public transport software were recognized as best practice for innovative digitalization solutions.

The conference, opened by Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, Federal Minister of Education and Research, serves as a forum for an exchange between business, research, social partners and politics on the role of digitalization for services. The central questions of the conference were what role services will play in the digital society and how the services of the future can be shaped.

The aim was to discuss the numerous opportunities for business and society as well as the necessary framework conditions and their design. The service conference is therefore a platform for initiating new, innovative solutions based on social and economic needs.
