What is an ALS pharmacy?

ALS pharmacies are specialized pharmacies that have extensive experience with medication for ALS and are familiar with the specifics of ALS treatment. These pharmacies are located in various cities and towns in Germany.

ALS pharmacies are easily accessible for ALS patients via the ALS app, email and telephone. Medication is provided via courier or postal services. This concept has been developed and established since 2015.

Many patients would like to keep their “traditional” local pharmacy. Most patients therefore use two pharmacies: an ALS pharmacy for the provision (and advice) of ALS medication, while other medication continues to be obtained from the local pharmacy.
