Notification of supply requirements for medication
If you indicate in a care request via the SMA app that you need neurological medication, your case manager will be notified immediately. They will take care of providing you with a new or existing medication. Additionally, the SMA app also offers the option of transmitting the need for advice on a neurological medication. You will then be contacted and advised by a pharmacy specialising in SMA as soon as possible.
Notification of the need for aids
You can also use the SMA app to inform your case management about the need for an assistive device. The SMA app provides a care request with several categories, ranging from respiratory aids to transfer aids. For example, the need for assistance in the living environment, a communication aid, or care aids can be communicated via the app, and the supply can be initiated. Once your needs have been communicated via the app, you will be contacted by your case manager to plan the next steps for the provision of an assistive device.

Users can notify their case managers of their need for neurological medication via the “My medication supply request” function on the Supply page.

What medication is needed?
The required medication, prescription, or consultation can be described on the “Which product do you need?” page.

Send the required care to case management
The notification of need – here using the example of a new medication – is sent to case management. Once it has been sent, case management contacts the user and cares for the supply.
The “My medical aids” function on the Supply page provides an overview of the current and past supply of medical aids. In the detailed description of an individual assistive product, you can see the processing status of the supply process and which medical supply store supplies the assistive product. A filter function allows you to filter all medical aids according to the status of the supply process (status), medical aid category and date of the most recent supply process.

Overview “My tools”
On the Care page, you will find the “My aids” overview. This overview shows all aids that have been coordinated via your case management.

Overview of the state of supply
On the “My aids” page, you can get an overview of the processing status of your aids, which are coordinated by your case management.

Details of the provision of aids
The “My aids” page takes you to the details view of an aid. The details include the processing status of the fitting and the medical supply retailer.
